She seems to be responding to the adjustment made to her seizure meds. We've had a bit more sleep the last few nights and she is more relaxed and comfortable.
Thank you for the prayers!

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...
The revision process continues. I started the next phase and made it to chapter ten quite happy with how it was going (hmmm looks like I said as much in an earlier blog post), but now I need to get creative and do some major work on the tail end. I know I can do this. Just takes patience and persistence.
Best of all, I am happy to see that these two characters will finally have their stories told and they will be shelved at last with a happy ending. And then on to a new book. :)
It's just a balance between life and writing, what with Boo and all, but it can be done. I'm loving it.

Boo's demons
Sometime ago, Boo would focus on something near the ceiling and she would coo and laugh and just have a look of sheer joy on her face. We referred to these moments as Boo talking to the angels. She hasn't done that in quite awhile.
Recently, however, she has started what the doctor thinks is a new type of seizure, where she fixes her eyes on something and starts wailing/howling as if she is really scared. We call these Boo's demons.
So, there have been adjustments to her medication for seizures and it looks as if this might help.
These episodes look and sound very scary, but she is not in any pain or discomfort, unless she truly is terrified. I had wondered if she had finally begun the dementia phase, but perhaps not yet.
Your prayers as always are most appreciated!

The revision process is going well...
I am happy to report that Inheritance is coming along nicely. More than happy with it so far. Made it to Chapter ten last night before I hit a bump, all very workable, and that's good news. It's smoothing out and getting ready for publication (via me) unless I can interest a publisher. Either way I am good.
Already have a second story in the works. I write it when I am taking breaks from revising Inheritance. No title yet. It will come to me. Another Catholic romance. :)
Boo is doing well. She had a bit of a rough patch, but some adjustments to her medication have helped. Much less coughing and choking now. She sleeps like a baby. :)
The rest of the crew is well. One teen is in track, the other helps out on meet days. Middle son is gearing up to be released from the residential treatment center this summer--progress! Youngest son is getting ready to graduate from his first year of home school. He's done very well.
Thanks to all who send happy mail our way. We love it!
Bit of a sad note. My grandma passed away last Saturday. Complications due to pneumonia. She was 94 1/2. A ripe old age, says I.
May your Easter season be blessed and filled with all good things!
